It might help to start with an Architecture (i.e. a picture or diagram)
for what you are trying to build. It is then easier to refer to the various
Architectural elements. Most engineering students learn to draw diagrams
in their early years. It is amazing the IETF does not seem to have a
drawing of its Next Generation Internet Architecture.
